Accommodation
The SWF experience is offered fully residential – you stay in the University’s halls of residence (1 minute walk from the teaching, rehearsal and songwriting rooms you’ll use). If you want to go for this option, just book a residential place (the cost works out about the same as a local B&B).
Some participants choose to book their own accommodation in Bath (around 1-2 miles away), and travel to the campus daily. If you arrange your own accommodation you only pay the SWF course fees as a non-residential songwriter. Here are some recommended B&Bs and hotels;

If you want to combine your visit to the Festival with a more general tourist trip to beautiful Bath, here’s a great site with lots of info and links. We recommend that you do this before or after the Festival dates – you’ll be working too hard on your songwriting to take any time off!
